TCI Supports a Makeover of Family Planning Service Areas in Health Facility in Sindh Province, Pakistan

The Challenge Initiative (TCI) recently participated in a ceremony in Sindh Province, Pakistan, to inaugurate a public health facility in Karachi District West that has upgraded its family planning and maternal and child health areas. The facility makeover was the result of efforts by the TCI team and the District Health Management Team.

Honored guests included Dr. Talib Lashari, who is a Technical Advisor with FP2030 and consultant with the Population Welfare Department for the government of Sindh.

The overall condition of UHC NO 10 is now refurbished with amenities such a well-equipped labor room in the dispensary. The makeover will allow the facility to provide quality service to community members who cannot afford services offered at private hospitals.
