Associate Director of Donor Engagement
Jennifer Guertin brings over 16 years of international health experience in reproductive health/family planning and maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH), providing program and technical design planning, management, monitoring and, more recently, program development leadership with a variety of donors.
From 2008-2015, Jennifer oversaw and managed Jhpiego’s new program development efforts, engaging with high level donor representatives and strengthening organizational capacity for new program development, focused primarily on securing funds from competitive sources. She served in several program development roles, including both the Associate Director and then the Director for New Program Development, where she supported a three-fold increase in funding from over 30 multilateral and bilateral donors, as well as select foundations, corporation and other funding sources.
Jennifer has worked for two of the four URHI international partners for 14 years combined (CCP and Jhpiego). In addition to serving as a Fulbright Scholar in family planning in the Philippines and a USAID Population Fellow, Jennifer worked over the course of her career in program management and development capacities in advancing policy, behavior change communication (BCC), service delivery and the private sector areas to expand RMNCH access and information. She holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
