Annette McFarland supports the knowledge management portfolio of The Challenge Initiative, specifically as it relates to the work of Francophone West Africa. She is fluent in French and conversant in Chichewa and Hausa. She also works at The Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program.
Before joining CCP, Annette worked in the Malawi office of Trócaire, the overseas development agency of the Irish Catholic church, as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Advisor. She has also lived and worked in Uganda, Indonesia, and Niger. She has a Master of Global Human Development (MGHD) from Georgetown University.
