The second in TCIHC’s webinar series was held on May 13, 2020, titled “Towards a Mindset shift: Specific male engagement strategy increases male participation in family planning.” This webinar introduced participants to one of the proven solutions TCIHC uses to help local governments improve male participation in family planning. For decades, the male method of non-scalpel vasectomy (NSV) has not been very popular, especially when compared to condoms. TCIHC provides guidance to local governments on devising male engagement strategies to increase the uptake of family planning methods in urban areas, especially non-scalpel vasectomy. The webinar slides can be found here in English.
