Integrated family planning outreaches help overcome geographic, economic and social barriers that limit family planning service uptake by bringing the services to the community and combining them with other relevant reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) services.
Because family planning services are easier for women and girls to access – within the community and integrated with some other type of RMNCH care (immunizations, prenatal or postnatal care, etc.) – TCI considers integrated family planning outreaches a gender intentional intervention.
Below are the integrated outreach interventions that local governments are implementing in TCI-supported hubs.
