The Every Woman Every Child movement supports the Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health (2016–2030).
FP2030 is the only global partnership focused on family planning. It unites a wide of partners across disciplines and sectors to put family planning at the center of global health, development, and gender equality. Its “Commitment Makers” are governments that have made commitments to advance family planning.
MOMENTUM works in partnership with countries to scale up health interventions and improve the overall health and well-being of mothers, children, families, and communities. It provides innovative awards funded by USAID.
The UNFPA Supplies Partnership is a Global Health Initiative in 54 countries that strengthens health systems through improving supply chains, advancing policy, diversifying financing and expanding access to quality-assured contraceptives and maternal health medicines – reaching over 20 million women and girls annually in the lowest-income countries.
The Ouagadougou Partnership envisions a Francophone West Africa where easy access to quality family planning services saves and improves lives and serves as a catalyst for sustainable development for all. From 2011 to 2021, most of the Partnership’s nine countries doubled their contraceptive prevalence rates.
TCI, The Challenge Initiative works closely with city governments to help them implement family planning services that ultimately are run entirely by the cities. TCI is based at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health. TCI hosts the Family Planning Mini Course on “TCI University”.
The Track20 Project, implemented by Avenir Health, monitors progress towards achieving the goals of the global FP2020 initiative in the world's 69 poorest countries.it works directly with governments to collect, analyze and use data to improve family planning strategies and plans.
HRP (the UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction) is the main instrument within the United Nations system for research in human reproduction, bringing together policy-makers, scientists, health care providers, clinicians, consumers, and community representatives to identify and address priorities for research to improve sexual and reproductive health.
MSI Reproductive Choices offers a range of reproductive healthcare services globally, with a team of 9,000. MSI teams work across 36 countries to support over 93,000 people every day to make choices about their reproductive health and futures. This includes abortion and contraception services, but also broader reproductive healthcare including maternity care, cervical cancer screening and preventative therapy, and HIV and STI testing and treatment.
Women’s Integrated Sexual Health Programme (WISH), United Kingdom. The WISH program is the U.K. FCDO’s flagship sexual and reproductive health and rights programme, dedicated to the principle “leave no one behind” and realizing FP2020 commitments. Two “Lots” are implemented through partners in Africa and Asia. WISH ensures equitable access to family planning that prioritizes the marginalized and hard-to reach women and girls, including youth under 20, the very poor, people with disability, and people displaced or affected by humanitarian crisis.
