Introduction
Access to family planning begins – and sometimes ends – at the facility level. In Bangladesh's rapidly urbanizing cities, strengthening the quality, availability, and consistency of services is essential to ensuring that women who seek care actually receive it. TCI coaches local government health systems to implement proven, facility-based interventions that expand access while building the provider capacity needed to sustain results.
This course presents the service delivery approaches that TCI and government partners have adapted and will implement in Bangladesh. Lessons address postpartum family planning counselling and services immediately after birth, fixed-day service provision to make care predictable and accessible, and targeted capacity-building to help providers deliver high-quality family planning services.
