Delivering Services for Youth

The journey to accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services starts long before a young person enters a clinic, pharmacy or health center. However, once there, their experience is vital to ensuring their continued use of SRH services. While the services and commodities provided to youth may not vary from those provided to adults, their delivery does.

Services do not exist in a void; in order to generate demand for services among youth, supply-side issues such as provider bias, cost, privacy, transportation, and the availability of appropriate commodities must be addressed.
